April Pancake:  Banana’s foster sprinkled with almonds and topped with whipped cream. $6.95

Cold Soup: Gazpacho with a dollop of sour cream. $5.50

Hot Soup of the Day:  Portobello chili $5.50 bowl, $6.50 bread bowl

Quiche of the Day:  Fried artichoke hearts, feta cheese, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic and caramelized onion. Mixed with an egg custard and baked in a pastry crust.  Served with a side of fresh fruit.  $8.95

Sandwich of the Day: Chef’s Ham Salad:  Smoked ham ground with pickles, onion and roasted red pepper mixed with mayonnaise, fresh grated horseradish and parsley. Served on multigrain wheat bread with lettuce and tomato. Served with a side of pasta salad. $8.95

Jose Benedict:  Two English muffin halves topped with sliced tomato, grilled chorizo patties, two over easy eggs, lime cilantro and jalapeno hollandaise sauce. Finished with sliced green onions on top. $9.95

“Café Scotsman”:  Our version of a scotch egg. A hard cooked egg encased in elk and pork sausages. Served on split buttermilk biscuit halves, topped with fresh tomato chutney, and surrounded with sausage gravy.  $9.95

Chef’s Skinny Egg Sandwich:  Our Lucy’s works bagel toasted, two egg whites scrambled, black pepper, turkey bacon and white cheddar cheese. $8.95

The Curmudgeon Breakfast:  Homemade Metamucil infused with carefree anecdotes of life, sugared dates, and a prune coulis. This is only available for our smile challenged guests. $24.95

Lucy’s Bakery “The Works Bagel” with sundried tomato and roasted garlic cream cheese. $2.95
