December Pancake:  “Egg Nog with Butter Rum Sauce”:  Our special egg nog recipe pancake batter grilled and topped with butter rum sauce and whipped cream.  $6.95

Hot Soup of the Day:  Minestrone $5.50 bowl, $6.50 bread bowl

Quiche of the Day:   Leek, roasted red pepper, cream cheese, and Swiss cheese mixed with an egg custard and baked in a pastry crust. Served with a side of fresh fruit.  $8.95

Sandwich of the Day:  “Chicken Salad Croissant”:  Our house recipe, all breast meat chicken salad in a warm croissant with lettuce and tomato.  Garnished with a pickle spear and served with a side of loaded potato salad.  $8.95

“Breakfast in Burma”:  Eggs scrambled with peppers and onions and topped with cheddar cheese, fresh tomato chutney, and Sriracha cream sauce.  Served with braised Indian-style lentils and a warm flour tortilla.  $9.95 (Note! lentils contain beef).

The Chef’s Deluxe Skinny Egg Sandwich:  Lucy’s “The Works Bagel” with over-hard eggs with black pepper, turkey bacon, white cheddar cheese, sliced tomato, and sliced avocado.  $8.95

“Café Royale Breakfast”:  English muffin halves topped with grilled sliced tomato, two eggs over-easy, a cheddar-ale sauce, and chopped bacon. Garnished with steamed broccoli spears.  $9.95

Root Vegetable Hash and Eggs:  Roasted beets, redskin potatoes, rutabaga, garlic, and red pepper, mixed with balsamic and fresh herbs, all grilled and topped with two eggs over-easy and a buttermilk biscuit.  $8.95

Lucy’s Bakery “The Works Bagel” with sundried tomato and roasted garlic cream cheese $2.95
